PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll forming apparatus to form a long size metal plate into a square column for building by roll forming. SOLUTION: A cylindrical body A formed from a long size metal plate in a previous process is fed between an upper roller 1 and a lower roller 2, a mandrel 3, which is arranged with a caulking roller 4 and feed rollers 51, 51 at front/rear of the caulking roller 4, is inserted into the cylindrical body A, an overlapped sections A3 of both edge parts of the long size metal plate constituting the cylindrical body A are caulked with the caulking roller 4 and the lower roller 2, these both edge parts are joined, the cylindrical body is fed with the front/rear feed rollers 51, 51 and the upper roller 1, further, a square part correcting die 8, which corrects a square part of the cylindrical body A from the inside into a prescribed set value, is arranged to the mandrel 3.
