PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifier, capable of effectively utilizing a water purifying cartridge, realizing high performance and long life and making usable a conventional water purifying cartridge of which the manufacturing process is simple and the number of components is small. SOLUTION: This water purifier is loaded with a water purifying cartridge 10 around which a filter material 12 is disposed and in which a central water flow passage 14 is formed along the longitudinal direction. An inner pipe 26 which forms an inner water flow passage 36 between it and the outer side face 11 of the water purifying cartridge is installed, and an outer pipe 28 which forms an outer water flow passage 38 between it and the outer side face 27 of the inner pipe is installed. The inner water passage is communicated with the outside through a first opening part 40, and the outer water flow passage is communicated with the outside through a second opening part 42. The central water flow passage and the outer water flow passage are communicated with each other at a position apart from the first opening part.
