<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric appliance preventing the temperature of handle of an exterior cover provided at a position in the vicinity of a heat source from becoming high. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus (electric appliance) 1 is provided with a heat source provided inside the image forming apparatus 1, the exterior cover 15 provided to be freely opened and closed in the image forming apparatus 1 and the handle 21 carrying out the opening and closing operation of the exterior cover 15. The exterior cover 15 is provided at the position in the vicinity of the heat source.
