PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording method for providing an optically stable information recording medium of high capacity and high density without using a laser of a short wavelength.

SOLUTION: In the recording method of the optical information recording medium having a recording component including at least one non-resonant multi-photon absorption compound, information is recorded by irradiating the recording component with light having a wavelength by which the recording component is not linearly absorbed in the wavelength region from UV to a near-infrared wavelength to deform at least one part of the recording component of the light irradiation part.
