PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing member for an electronic component in which peeling operation can be effectively done and which can not be illegally reused. SOLUTION: The present sealing member 300 is used for sealing various kinds of electronic components for controlling game operation in a game machine, and comprises a seal having a surface layer 301 and an adhesive layer formed on the surface layer 301 so as to be stuck to the electronic components. In the seal, the adhesive force in the adhesive layer 301 is set so as to be greater in the electronic components than in the surface layer 301, and a fragile and weak portion 305 having a nonuniform cross-sectional shape is formed in the surface layer 301.
