PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose clamp having an operation part capable of reducing attack property of the operation part against parts arranged around the hose clamp and suppressing reduction of work efficiency. SOLUTION: Cavity parts 8Ac, 8Ac, 8Bc, 8Cc passing through in the direction of width of a tightening ring 2 are formed in end parts of the operation parts 8A, 8B, 8C formed by folding back peripheral end parts 2a, 2b of the tightening ring 2 in the peripheral direction of the tightening ring 2. While the cavity parts 8Ac, 8Cc, 8Ac are positioned on a substantially straight line, pins for preventing respective cavity parts from being separated are inserted into the cavity parts to maintain a diameter expanded state of the tightening ring. Either of a pair of pin parts of a tool coming into contact mutually and leaving from each other freely is inserted into the cavity part 8Cc, the pin part on the other side of the tool is inserted into the cavity part 8Bc, and the pair of pin parts of the tool are separated from each other to expand diameter of the tightening ring more than its diameter before separating the pin parts from each other.
