An apparatus for cutting an edge tape of a wood panel is provided to implement conveniently the cutting operation and to prevent generation of the noise and impact by installing a second blade operated while drawing an arc with a mutual operation of a first blade. An apparatus for cutting an edge tape of a wood panel comprises a frame(2), a conveying block(4), a first cutting unit(8), a second cutting unit(12), a first operation cylinder(18), and a position detecting unit. The frame is fixed on the side unit of a conveyor(100). The conveying block is installed movably on the frame along the length direction of the conveyor. The first cutting unit comprises a first blade(10) longitudinally installed at one portion of the front end to be vertically mounted on the conveyor. The second cutting unit whose one end is rotatably fixed on the first cutting unit executes the cutting operation with a mutual operation with the fist cutting unit. The first operation cylinder includes a cylinder body(20) and a piston(22). The position detecting unit operates the first operation cylinder by detecting the position of a wood panel.
