PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor having large electrostatic capacity. SOLUTION: In the solid electrolytic capacity, a capacitor element 2 is buried. The capacitor element 2 comprises: a positive electrode 4 in which a positive electrode lead 3 is partially buried into an exterior body 1 made of an epoxy resin, or the like; an oxide layer 5 containing a niobium oxide formed on the positive electrode 4; and a negative electrode 6 formed on the oxide layer 5. The positive electrode lead 3 is composed of a niobium alloy containing at least one of vanadium and zirconium, its one end is buried to the positive electrode 4 made of a porous sintered compact of metal particles containing niobium, and the other end is connected to a positive electrode terminal 7. The negative electrode 6 comprises: a conductive polymer layer 6a made of polypyrrole, or the like, a first conductive layer 6b containing carbon particles, and a second conductive layer 6c containing silver particles. One end of a negative electrode terminal 9 is connected onto the negative electrode 6 via a third conductive layer 8 containing silver particles.
