PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel in which manufacturing unit price is reduced, and driving efficiency is improved. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel includes a front face substrate 101 in which a first electrode and a second electrode aligned mutually in a row are formed, a rear face substrate 111 in which a third electrode (113, X) intersecting with the first electrode (102, Y) and the second electrode (103, Z) are formed, and a barrier rib 112 dividing a discharge cell between the front face substrate 101 and the rear face substrate 111, wherein at least one out of the first electrode (102, Y) or the second electrode (103, Z) is single layered, at least one out of the first electrode (102, Y) or the second electrode (103, Z) includes at least one line part that intersects with the third electrode (113, X) and a plurality of protruding parts protruding from the line part, while a form of at least one protruding part out of the plurality of protruding parts is different from those of the other protruding parts.
