PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a head at loading/unloading in a disk unit in which the disk is accessed by positioning the head on the rotating disk. SOLUTION: The disk unit comprises a ramp 20C for holding a tip part of an arm 15 at a position apart from the disks 12; and a slit shroud 30 whose side faces the sides of the disks 12, extends to the position where the tip of the arm 15 held by the ramp 20C overlaps, has the same thickness as the thickness of the disks 12, and has air flow control plates 301 which forms the same surface as the disks 12.
