PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home fire alarm which can be easily attached without laying a power supply line in installing the alarm, requires no battery replacement work after installation and is very convenient for a user. SOLUTION: A home fire alarm 1 includes a temperature sensor 2 for detecting an ambient temperature to output a signal corresponding to the detected temperature; a fire determination processing unit 3 for determining the occurrence of a fire on the basis of an output signal from the sensor 2; an alarm unit 4 for alarming the occurrence of the fire to the outside; and a thermoelectric conversion element 5 for supplying power source to the processing unit 3.
