TRANSMISSION RATIO VARIABLE STEERING DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission ratio variable steering device having a solenoid actuator on a lock mechanism capable of controlling decrease of moving speed right before locking of a lock bar so as to decease the impact sound caused by lock operation.

SOLUTION: The lock mechanism is equipped with the solenoid actuator where a locking pawl part of a lock bar is energized to a locking position locking with a lock groove of a lock holder by an elastic member and the solenoid actuator switches the locked state where the lock bar is locked with the lock groove and an unlocked state where it is unlocked. The lock mechanism is constituted so as to decrease the moving speed of the lock bar at the right before locking by decreasing an average voltage Va driving the solenoid with time by the control decreasing a drive voltage of the solenoid actuator with time.
