LIGHT GUIDE PANNEL FOR EDGE LIGHTING TYPE BACKLIGHT UNIT

A light guide plate of a lateral lighting backlight unit is provided to improve darkness in a left side and a right side by forming a prism pattern vertical to a line optical source. One optical source or more are arranged in a lateral side of a lateral lighting backlight assembly. An asymmetrically embossed prism pattern is formed in a lower surface(DN) of a light guide plate(100) in parallel to an optical source and induces the light to the front. The light guide plate uniformly irradiates the light from the optical source to the upper side. The prison pattern vertical to the optical source is formed in both sides of the upper surface(UP) of the light guide plate and improves the darkness due to an edge slash.
