Hydrotalcite having excellent heat resistance and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to offer excellent heat resistance by supplying the Hydrotalcite in synthetic resin without deformation of structure with restricted the amount of crystallization. Hydrotalcite is indicated to a chemical formula 1. An- is a negative ion having a valence of n selected from a group consisting of CO32-, NO3-, SO42-, OH-, F-, Cl-, Br-, and Si, P or B- containing oxyacid ion. Z is formula weight of Mg1-xAlx(OH)2(An-)x/n. a is 0.015 - 0.05. A heat treatment condition is different according to the negative ion included to the Hydrotalcite.
