PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce probability that a shaft system of a rotary machine becomes unstable.SOLUTION: A shaft center position control device for a rotary machine for slidably supporting a rotary shaft by a bearing pad through lubricant oil comprises a shaft center position estimating part for estimating a shaft center position of the rotary shaft on the basis of a state amount of the rotary shaft inputted from a sensor; and a supply oil temperature setting part for setting a supplied oil temperature in such a way that the supplied oil temperature may become high as the shaft center position is located at an upper position on the basis of the shaft center position estimated by the shaft center position estimating part, and outputting a supplied oil temperature set at a temperature adjusting part capable of adjusting a temperature of the lubricant oil.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
