摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover high purity cobalt at a high recovery by suppressing the loss of cobalt while reducing copper from an acidic aqueous solution with a high purity concentration as possible.SOLUTION: In the method for recovering cobalt from a copper-containing aqueous solution in which the concentration of copper is 10 g/L or higher, the concentration of cobalt is 5 g/L or lower and the ratio between the copper concentration/the cobalt concentration is 5 or higher, and also comprising calcium and/or zinc. The method comprises: a copper extraction step (S1) of solvent-extracting using a carboxylic acid based extraction agent; a copper adsorption step (S3) of passing the copper-containing remaining liquid after the extraction into an acidic chelate resin; a cobalt extraction step (S4) of solvent-extracting cobalt contained in the solution from which copper has been removed; and a cobalt recovery step (S5) of subjecting the cobalt-containing solution to electrolytic treatment to recover cobalt. In the copper extraction step, the copper concentration is controlled to 5 to 100 mg/L, and further, the solvent extraction of calcium and/or zinc is performed (S2) before the cobalt extraction step.
