Provided is a store terminal device that can flexibly and, without burdening store personnel, accurately perform settlement of accounts at a store terminal in accordance with the various payment methods desired by customers. Also provided are a settlement method and a settlement device for so doing. Specifically, the problem addressed by the present invention is solved by a store terminal device that is provided with at least: a processing means that determines an amount of money to be settled on an account; a membership inquiry processing means that, when a card number presented by a member user is inputted, makes a membership inquiry at a membership management server on the basis of the number, receives, as a result of the membership inquiry, data from the membership management server that relates to settlement policy data that has been registered by the specified member user, and selectably displays for the member user one or more "method of payment" on a display unit; and a settlement request processing means that makes a request to a proxy settlement server for settlement processing that is in accordance with the "method of payment" selected by the member user.
