This water splash prevention hood (1) is configured so that a plurality of protruding plates (20, 30) are arranged in an alternating zigzag pattern with gaps therebetween, on an end surface (11) of a cylindrical body (10) which is connected to a shower head. In this configuration, there are no passages through which water spouts straight from the inside of the hood (1) toward the outside; therefore the violent splashing of water to the outside is prevented. Also, the gaps between the protruding plates form meandering flow passages "L", and the appropriate setting of the gaps between the protruding plates enables water to flow gently to the outside at a sufficient rate. The provided water splash prevention hood according to the present invention has both increased water splash prevention effect and increased water draining effect. |
