<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a drum shutter from being opened, which occurs in such a situation that when a process cartridge taken out of a main body is placed on a flat surface, such as of a desk, with the drum shutter facing up, with the opening/closing projections of the drum shutter as mounting parts. <P>SOLUTION: The projections serving as mounting parts when the cartridge is placed upside down, are formed opposite the opening/closing projections of the drum shutter in the direction of the length of it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
