<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a millimeter wave mixer which uses an NRD guide and can be downsized. <P>SOLUTION: The millimeter wave mixer wherein the intermediate points of two dielectric lines 1, 2 located between parallel flat conductor plates arranged at an interval of 1/2 of a wavelength of a millimeter wave signal or below are brought close to each other to be electromagnetically coupled, and a millimeter wave detection section is provided to one end of the dielectric lines 1, 2. The difference between the length from the millimeter wave detection section of the one dielectric line 1 to the midpoint and the length from the millimeter wave detection section of the other dielectric line 2 to the midpoint is selected to be nλ, wherein n is a natural number and λ is the wavelength of the millimeter wave signal propagating through the dielectric lines 1, 2.
