The present invention relates to a silicon-containing vinyl-based copolymer, which is a polymer of a monomer mixture comprising: 10-20 wt% of an acrylic monomer; 50-80 wt% of an aromatic vinyl monomer; 5-30 wt% of a vinyl cyanide monomer; and 0.05-5 wt% of a silane compound represented by chemical formula 1. A thermoplastic resin composition comprising the silicon-containing vinyl-based copolymer has excellent impact resistance, flowability and heat resistance, and a good balance thereof. In chemical formula 1, R_1 is H or a methyl group; each of R_2, R_3 and R_4 independently represents a C1-C10 alkoxy group, a C6-C10 aryloxy group, or *-O-R_5-O-R_6 (wherein R_5 is a C1-C3 alkylene group, R_6 is a C1-C10 alkyl group or a C6-C10 aryl group, and * represents a binding site); m is an integer of zero to 10; and n is zero or one.
