PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure cooker capable of discharging contents efficiently and heating the contents efficiently.SOLUTION: A pot body 10 of a pressure cooker includes a cylinder part 11 arranged while protruding downward at a peripheral edge of a lower face of a bottom part 10a. Recesses 10b recessed upward are arranged on the lower face of the bottom part 10a at a part contacting an inner side of the cylinder part 11. One or more recesses 10b are arranged. A lower discharge pipe 10d is arranged in the bottom part 10a, the lower discharge pipe 10d penetrating a side face of the bottom part 10a and an upper face of the bottom part 10a, and opened upward on the upper face of the bottom part 10a and opened in a lateral direction on the side face of the bottom part 10a.
