摘要 Novelty: air-cooling generation unit based on water evaporation and indirect evaporation method by cooled air current pre-cooling. Function mode: inside the insulated shell 11 there are arranged thin-walled metal air ducts 12 wherein the cooled air current 15 is moving to exchange heat with the working air current 13. When the air of the working air current drawn to the shell 13 comes in contact with the water 17 this last gets evaporated. The heat required for water evaporation is supplied by two air currents: the cooled air current and the working air current both getting cooled with no increase or increase of the humidity ratio, respectively. The evaporation takes place into one part of the thin-walled metal ducts (evaporation region). A perceptible heat exchange between the two air currents occurs at the remaining length of said ducts (pre-cooling region of the cooled air current). In this way, the greatest part of the latent evaporation heat is exploited since the air of the low-temperature working air current at the termination of the evaporation region is not released in the environment as in ordinary indirect evaporation coolers but it heads towards the pre-cooling region of the cooling air current so that this last can be conducted to the evaporation region in a state which is cooler than that of the environment. In this way, the regulation of the cooling capability of the indirect-evaporation semi-evaporative cooler is ensured and the temperature of the cooled air current at the exit of the device can increase or decrease, respectively.
