摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC/DC converter for improving the power factor without using a diode in a rectification circuit.SOLUTION: An AC/DC converter 100 according to the present invention, includes: a rectification circuit 110 connected to an AC power source; and a power factor improvement circuit 120 connected to the rectification circuit 110. The rectification circuit 110 includes a transistor QA1 connected to an N-side input of the AC power source and a transistor QA2 connected to an L-side input thereof. The transistors QA1 and QA2 are alternately turned on synchronizing with the polarity of the input AC voltage. The power factor improvement circuit 120 includes inductors L1 and L2, diodes D1 and D2, transistors QB1 and QB2, and a capacitor C. The inductor L1 and the transistor QB1 are connected in series between the L-side input and the reference potential, and the inductor L2 and the transistor QB2 are connected in series between the N-side input and the reference potential.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
