PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter and a liquid crystal display device with the wide color reproduction range, the high brightness, and the excellent display characteristic.SOLUTION: A color filter includes at least green colored pixel on a transparent substrate. The green pixel portion of the color filter is a color filter containing an aluminum phthalocyanine pigment, preferably a color filter containing pigment yellow 138, and more preferably a color filter containing pigment green 58. The aluminum phthalocyanine pigment, the pigment yellow 138, and the pigment green 58 are contained in the solid content of the green pixel by 25 wt% or more and 50 wt% or less in total.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
