PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of interruption of bill processing or suspension of usage of a device caused by a storage amount of bills in the device.SOLUTION: A bill processing device is constituted by: a bundled bill conveyance path for conveying bundled bills; a bundled bill collection cassette for storing bundled bills determined as an excess in the device, provided in a manner to be detachable from the outside of the device with an aperture for storing the bundled bills; an opening and closing mechanism provided in the bundled bill conveyance path which is positioned at a storage position for storing the bundled bills from the aperture into the bundled bill collection cassette and at a conveyance position for conveying the bundled bills through the aperture. Even while the bundled bill collection cassette is detached from the outside of the device, the bundled bills can be conveyed through the bundled bill conveyance path by setting the opening and closing mechanism at the conveyance position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
