PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate-like member in which a projection length of a blade edge is adjusted by using the plate-like member for a cutting tool, while stably holding the plate-like member.SOLUTION: A plate-like member of a cutting tool has substantially rectangular 2-side surfaces, an upper surface and a lower surface extending in the direction along the rectangular long side, and 2-end surfaces being the 2-end surfaces in the short-side direction and having a cutting edge positioned at one side. One lateral side is a curved surface swelling outwardly. The lower surface has a sloped portion inclined to the upper surface. This plate-like member is held by a tool block having a lower surface restriction surface coming into contact with the lower surface, and is fixed to the tool block by using a clamp member having an upper surface restriction surface coming into contact with the upper surface of the plate-like member. Thereby, a projection length of a blade edge can be adjusted while stably holding the plate-like member, so that the chattering vibration can be suppressed to improve a surface quality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
