PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: novel organopolysiloxane compositions which cure to give a silicone elastomer in the presence of water or moisture, which are of use for sealing and assembling components of a power train; and a novel process for sealing and assembling components of a power train by means of silicone seals having good resistance against contact with various fluids used in the power train while having good adhesive properties.SOLUTION: A polyorganosiloxane composition X of the present invention comprises: a polyorganosiloxane A comprising an alkoxylated group; a ground natural calcium carbonate B which has a specific surface area less than 3 m/g and has been surface-treated with a paraffin, a fatty acid and/or a fatty acid salt; a condensation catalyst C comprising a guanidine that has a substituted imine functional group; and a polyalkoxysilane D that has a group comprising a nitrogen atom. The polyorganosiloxane composition X does not contain acetylene black, and can be crosslinked to yield an elastomer in the presence of water via a polycondensation reaction.SELECTED DRAWING: None
