This refrigeration cycle device comprises: a refrigerant circuit including a compressor 11, a condenser (outdoor heat exchanger 13), an expansion valve 21, and an evaporator (indoor heat exchanger 13); a fan 14 that blows air to the condenser; a fan 23 that blows air to the evaporator; and a control unit 100 that controls at least one of the frequency of the compressor 11, the degree of opening of the expansion valve 21, or the rotation speeds of the respective fans 14, 23, such that the dryness of the compressor 11 at the time of intake of a refrigerant is 1.0 or higher. The refrigerant circuit is configured such that a mixed refrigerant including from 30-50 wt%, inclusive, of an ethylene-based fluorohydrocarbon refrigerant circulates therethrough. |
