Method of suppressing systematic errors of electronic distance measurement devices for short distances

The proposed method of suppressing systematic errors of electronic distance measurement devices for short distances of the present invention is characterized by determining absolute errors of a distance measurement device on a laboratory pillar base with forced centering, further by determining relative errors of the distance measurement device on a base with an interferometer. Subsequently, the relative errors are transmitted to absolute errors and a repair function is determined from the values of the absolute errors in order to suppress the distance measurement devices systematic errors.
