PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a sheet supply device, which supplies sheets by sequentially separating the sheets from a sheet supply base while raising the sheet supply base by energizing force of a spring in non-synchronization with rotation of a sheet supply roller so as to supply sheets, to move down the sheet supply base without depending on manual operation.SOLUTION: A sheer supply base separation device 70 moves by electric control a sheet supply base 67 in a direction of separating from a sheet supply roller 34 against energizing force of a spring 68. A control device controls the sheet supply base separation device 70 so that the sheet supply base separation device 70 executes first operation by which the sheet supply base 67 is moved in a direction of separating from the sheet supply roller 34 and stopped against energizing force of the spring 68 and second operation by which the force against the energizing force of the spring 68 is released or weakened from a state where the base is stopped so as to allow the sheet supply base 67 to be moved in a direction of approaching the sheet supply roller 34 by the energizing force of the spring 68.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
