The motor has a disc shaped, axially magnetised rotor with a number of poles and a stator consisting of two parts connected by a bridging element carrying the excitation winding. Each stator part changes at its free end into a number of main poles smaller than half that of the rotor, directed towards the rotor face. At least some of main poles have auxiliary poles. The two stator parts lie in a first plane at least in the stator pole area, while the rotor is in a second plane, parallel to the first. The rotor has a magnetic back circuit plate on its side facing away from the stator. |
