The invention relates to an accessory for a portable circular saw making it possible to produce the various transverse cuts in wood rapidly, accurately and in complete safety. It is made up of a U-shaped working table 1 whose height can be adjusted and onto which there is positioned, by means of centering studs, a universal guide 2 in which there slides the sole plate of the portable circular saw. The piece of wood to be cut is placed in the U of the table 1, the guide 2 is positioned at the desired angle and the displacement of the saw in the sliding track produces the operation.
