The invention relates to a guide device for teaching serve movements in the game of tennis. This device comprises a continuous profiled guide 20 composed of a first ascending vertical portion 22, of a second substantially semi-circular portion 24 connected to the top of the first, of a third descending vertical portion 26 connected to the second, of a fourth substantially semi-circular portion 28 connected to the bottom of the third, of a fifth ascending vertical portion 30 connected to the fourth and of a sixth substantially quarter-circle-shaped portion 32 connected to the top of the fifth, and a sleeve tube which can be fitted onto a tennis-racquet handle, the said sleeve tube having a groove substantially matching the shape of the said profiled guide 20. <IMAGE>
