METHOD FOR LASER TRANSFER FOR MANUFACTURE OF OFFSET PRINTING FORMS

The method is applied in the printing industry. It enables the use of a single layer thermosensitive film on the basis of water-soluble thermoreactive binder and the obtained print forms display improved printing and technical parameters. The method includes depositing onto the transparent substrate prepared in advance a thin thermo-sensitive layer of thermoreactive water soluble polymer binder, more precisely a plasticised water-soluble phenol-formaldehyde oligomer, inorganic heat absorbing component and auxiliary additives. The oligomer, the heat-absorbing component and the plasticiser are in the ratio 1:1:01 - 5:1:0.5 and the laser transfer onto the aluminium platelet at a thickness of 1.06 microns is carried out for each concrete case and the parameters of the laser exposure are within the following limits: 10<5> - 5 x 10<7> W/cm<2> power density, duration of the pulse 30 ns - 4 microseconds and pulse energy 0.01 - 5 microjoules.
