A synthetic resin cap wherein the inner surface of the top plate of a cap main body consisting of the top plate and a sleeve depending from the peripheral edge thereof is formed with an inner annular seal projection adapted to be fitted on a vessel mouth and the inner peripheral surface of the sleeve is formed with a threaded portion for threaded engagement with the external thread in the vessel mouth, the threaded portion having a peripheral formation angle of 600-720 degree and being longitudinally divided in divisional sections into a plurality of divisional threaded portions, the divisional sections being peripherally substantially equally spaced; a closing device using the same; and a packaged beverage.
