PURPOSE:To prevent the zero-point drift of the output which is generated when a non-contact detecting type torque sensor wherein a magnetostriction phenomenon is applied is attached to a structure. CONSTITUTION:A +45 deg.C-amorphous magnetic alloy 2a and a -45 deg.C-amorphous magnetic alloy 2b are bonded to a shaft 1. Coils 4a and 4b are arranged and wound around a bobbin 3 at the outside of the alloys 2a and 2b. A magnetic yoke 5 is provided so as to form a closed magnetic circuit together with the alloys 2a and 2b and the coils 4a and 4b. A hollow cylinder made of resin 9 is provided as a buffer means at the outside of the magnetic yoke 5. A container 6 is arranged at the outside of the yoke. In this constitution, stress transfer from the outside is prevented, and the zero-point drift can be prevented.
