MALFUNCTION PREVENTING METHOD FOR CORDLESS TELEPHONE SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To surely hook on a telephone circuit in an on-hook state without using a squelch circuit that may possibly have a malfunction with a disturbance wave. CONSTITUTION:In regard of a malfunction preventing method for a cordless telephone system which contains a master device connected to a telephone circuit via a wire and a slave device which is connected to the master device with the radio frequency, a specific 1st code signal STBY CODE is transmitted from the slave device to show an on-hook state in response to the on-hook operation carried out at the slave device side. Then the master device hooks on the telephone circuit with reception of the signal STBY CODE and then transmits a specific 2nd code signal STBY CODE to the slave device to show an on-hook state. Thus the slave device waits for the next talking only when the signal STBY ACK CODE is received from the master device.
