PURPOSE:To provide a digital electronic camera device by which a still picture and a moving picture are picked up. CONSTITUTION:An electric signal from a CCD 2 is converted into a digitized raster signal by an A/D converter 4. In the case of image pickup of a still picture, a frame memory 13 is used to convert a raster signal into a block signal and the block signal is converted into a luminance signal and a color difference signal by a digital signal processing circuit 6 and the signals are stored again in the frame memory 13 and stored in a block buffer 19. In the case of picking up a moving picture, the raster signal is converted into a luminance signal and a color difference signal and converted into a block signal in a line memory 14 and stored in a block buffer 19. Then data of the block buffer 19 are compressed by a compression circuit 7 and recorded on a memory card 11. |
