PURPOSE: To prevent a pedestrian from falling off from a hood, when the vehicle collides with the person and the shock is buffered by an air bag installed on the hood. CONSTITUTION: A netting 18 is provided to be actuated in a certain lag from the spread of a hood air bag 16, and when a vehicle collides with a pedestrian, the pedestrian is buffered by the air bag 16, positioned on a hood 14, covered from above, and held on the hood 14, and thus the pedestrian is protected against shock caused by dropping onto the road surface and also touching an other vehicle. |
