PURPOSE: To provide a traffic sign having simple structure and an excellent ocular recognition effect particularly at night, etc., and having an emission function easy to be maintained. CONSTITUTION: A display body 1, illuminants 2 fitted along the periphery of the display body 1 and light-emitted linearly, and a light source 3 guiding light to the illuminants 2 and light-emitting or flickering the illuminants 2 are provided. Since the linearly light-emitted or flickered illuminants 2 are mounted along the periphery of the display body 1, the shape of the display body is fringed by the illuminants 2 and is easy to be distinctly discriminated even at night, etc., thus easily recognizing the display body. Since the illumnants 2 are light-emitted or flickered by emitting light by the light source, electrical wirings are not required for illuminant 2 themselves, thus improving water resistance, also simplifying structure and also facilitating maintenance. |
