PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous information from being provided by controlling a sheet distribution system and directing subsequent print jobs exceeding a preset limited number of printed sheets sent from an electronic printer to a different and respective mailbox bins in a mailbox control system. SOLUTION: A sheet distribution system 16 actuates a sheet deflecting gate 17 so as to pick up a sheet from a perpendicular sheet transfer device 18 to a prescribed bin 11. When the sheet reaches the solenoid opening gate 17, the sheet is deflected into a prescribed bin 11. Sheets received from a printer 14 which is operationally connected thereto by a sheet input 20 of a mailbox unit 10 are sent to a perpendicular transfer device 18 one after another. The perpendicular transfer device 18 is provided with belt rollers 25 which are formed into feed nips by engaged with a plurality of belts 26 respectively and feed the respective sheets along the moving belt 26 till the sheets abuts on an operation gate 17.
