<p>PURPOSE: To reduce an axial dimension of a starter device of an automatic transmission and improve fuel consumption performance at the time of mounting on a car. CONSTITUTION: Rotation of a case member 106 rotated unitedly with an output shaft of an engine is transmitted to an input shaft 110 of a transmission mechanism through a magnet member 109b, a conductive member 109a of a magnatic coupling 109 and a hub 120, since a clutch 107 is disconnected due to oil flow to a second oil chamber speed changer from a first oil chamber K1 on an inner side. The oil flow is switched from the second oil chamber K2 to the first oil chamber K1, and the clutch 107 is engaged. The case member 106 is connected to an input shaft 110 through the clutch 107 and and the hub 120. Rotation is directly transmitted, and fuel consumpution performance is improved. Heat generation of the magnetic coupling 109 due to enlargement of torque capacity is cooled by oil. An axial dimension of an automatic transmission is reduced by the use of the magnetic coupling instread of a torque converter.</p> |
