<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve flash fixability while retaining the color of a chromatic pigment by adding carbon black by a specified amt. based on the total amt. of the pigment and the carbon black. SOLUTION: This color toner for flash fixation with near IR consists essentially of a chromatic pigment, carbon black and a resin binder. The amt. of the carbon black is 5-40 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt., in total, of the carbon black and the chromatic pigment. In order to enhance fixing strength, the chromatic pigment is required to be used in combination with carbon black. Any known carbon black such as acidic or basic carbon black may be used.</p> |
