PURPOSE:To efficiently keep the device clear of jams by determining the order of priority of jams when plural jams are generated, and providing a determining means for performing the indications of jams 1n accordance with the order of priority determined by an indicating means. CONSTITUTION:A jam detecting means 01 consists of sensors arranged in plural places of an input device, a device body, an output device, detects jams by grouping the jams into plural jam-zone each of which is further divided into zones where jam-clears are at the same level by checking that these sensors are turned ON or OFF, and a jam priority determining means 02 gives the order of priority to the jams. In this instance, the order of priority of jams is given in the sequence of the input device, output device, device body, and further the order of priority is also given to jams within the input device, output device, and the device body. The order of priority of the jams is determined by checking which zone the jams belong to, with dynamic jams generated during operation of the device, an indicating means 03 indicates the jams of higher order of priority, and then performs the following jam-indications. |
