PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a worker to visually recognize the degree of image adjustment by preparing a γ curve display part where a γ curve, i.e., a conversion curve of image data is displayed and using a γ curve changing means which changes the γ curve that is displayed at the γ curve display part via the operation of an image regulation part. SOLUTION: An image display means 5 displays the image data stored in an image display memory 2 on an image display device 6. An image regulation means 7 adjusts the brightness and contrast of the image data of the memory 2. The device 6 also displays an image data conversion method using regulation in a γ curve. Then the image data conversion method is displayed in a γ curve after the image brightness and contrast are adjusted. This regulation is effective when the contrast emphasis place of the original data is changed in a current contrast state. |
