<p>An intermediate voltage switchgear including coupling means for current braking, disconnecting and grounding, connecting means for incoming and outgoing leads, manoeuvre and control means for the coupling means and function monitoring means. The switchgear is modularised and includes: at least two intermediate voltage modules (2), each one having a primary part (4) for receiving intermediate voltage parts and a manoeuvring part (5) for receiving manoeuvring and control means for the coupling means; whereby at least one primary part (5) is provided with downwardly directed connection means for incoming current leads; and a common connecting module (3) for the entire switchgear to which leads are drawn for transmitting signals, auxiliary power etc. between the intermediate voltage modules within the switchgear (2) and from external equipment.</p> |
