<p>A car battery plug which can be inserted into a cigar lighter socket (111) with an appropriate holding force when the plug is connected with the socket (111) and can be removed easily from the socket (111) due to a reduced holding force when the plug is pulled out of the socket (111). On the side face of a slider (25) which slides in a plug housing (2), an inclined section (25b) having a supporting section (25a) and a slope (26) which continues to the section (25a) is formed. When the contacting position where the folded end section (17b) of a plate spring contacting piece (17) comes into contact with the slider (25) is at the supporting section (25a), the contacting section (17a) of the piece (17) is largely protruded from an opening hole (19) and inserted into and connected to the socket (111) with an appropriate holding force. When the car battery plug (1) is pulled out of the socket (111), the slider (25) slides and the end section (17b) gets in the housing (2) along the slope (26), because a control knob (24) in a holding section (22) is moved backward. Therefore, the plug (1) can be removed easily, because the contacting section (17a) retreats toward the hole (19) and the holding force drops.</p> |
