PURPOSE:To prevent solidification and make it possible to obtain a useful food and cake-making raw material by adding isomaltulose and/or reduced isomultulose to fructose and pulverizing the resultant mixture. CONSTITUTION:A mixture obtained by adding isomaltulose and/or reduced isomaltulose to fructose at an amount of >=10wt.% is fed to a pulverizing device of swing hammer type, etc., at a feed speed of about 25kg/hr to provide the sugar powder having about 30mu average particle size. As necessary, the sugar powder is utilized as a food and/or sweetener to provide milk, chocolate, chewing gum and cookie, etc. |
