Process and apparatus for separating carbon dioxide and c2 hydrocarbons from a hydrocarbon-rich fraction

Carbon dioxide and C2+ hydrocarbons are separated from a hydrocarbon-rich fraction e.g. natural gas, by a process and in an apparatus in which the cooled hydrocarbon-rich fraction is freed of carbon dioxide and C2+ hydrocarbons by rectification in a separating column (T). The carbon dioxide and C2+ hydrocarbon-rich fraction obtained by rectification is partially evaporated and divided, for example in a separator (D), into a carbon dioxide-rich fraction and a C2+ hydrocarbon-rich fraction. At least a part of the C2+ hydrocarbon-rich fraction thus obtained is returned to the rectification process in the separating column (T).
